wow, Bron, love the new (ish?!) site design and magazine format :D
glad to hear you got through the quakes all ok, and I agree, my second thought (after "hope all my south island peeps are ok!") was to be very glad nz is so quake aware and prepared, that buildings are built to survive quakes, that people are trained to know what to do (I remember all the "run for the door frames/get under your desks" drills at school) and there are efficient, funded and adequate response services. Go kiwis! At the same time, it makes me feel incredibly sad that there are still people dying by the hundreds in Haiti for want of basic supplies (clean water!), that recent quakes there and in China cost and are still costing so many lives... hmmm, didnÂ´t mean to get all despressing here - IÂ´m just very glad and proud nz has in place ways too look after her people when things get shakey, and we are so lucky to make it through something that size with only a couple of injuries and property damage :) now.. off to read the rest of the issue and drool! xxz
