Divine. Blackcurrants is definitely something I miss about Canterbury - certainly going to miss making my annual bit batch of blackcurrant jam this year. Guess I'll have to settle for using frozen.

I have never made semi freddo but the recipe is interesting. So you don't cook the egg yolks? Iknow if they were cooked it would no longer be semi freddo, it would be icecream. I shall addit to my 'to try list'.

I have never seen black currants over here.

Oh and those nor westers. When i was with Air NZ I dreaded those flights over the south island when they were around.

As you know I'm not a berry kind of girl, but your semifreddo looks so good and perfectly creamy. I love these swirls on the top too ! So one scoop for me please ;))
